- Our maps and charts as drawn, including the risk barometer.
What it does not cover

- Linked articles and websites. They belong to their publishers.
- WHO risk levels are reported from WHO statements; WHO content is subject to WHO's own terms.
- Map data comes from Natural Earth and is in the public domain. Borders are shown as in Natural Earth and imply no position.
- The Public Sans typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Terms of use
Not medical or travel advice
The tracker compiles public information about an ongoing event. It is not an official health source and not medical, legal or travel advice. For health guidance, see the WHO plague fact sheet and your national health authority.
Accuracy
We publish a figure only if an official body or a named outlet reported it, and we label how far each claim is confirmed. Information can still change or turn out to be wrong. The tracker is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, as set out in sections 5 and 6 of CC BY 4.0.
Corrections
If you spot an error, send it through the Suggest a source form with a link to the correct information.
Independence
The tracker is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by WHO, Rospotrebnadzor, the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute or any outlet it cites.
